Range · Composite fall protection grids

The composite fall protection grid, for open structures.

A fall protection grid has one job: to stop a fall on the day the hatch or chamber is open. The idréva bars, in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) composite, have been validated by a 1,200 J impact test, for T1 hatches and civil works installation alike.

02 — Applications

When the structure opens onto a drop.

As soon as a hatch or chamber is opened for work, the structure becomes a drop of several metres. Collective protection comes before personal protective equipment.

03 — Why composite

The grid closes by itself.

Impact“Validated at 1,200 J.”

3 consecutive impacts following the INRS ED 6076 method: the bag does not pass through. Validated by a third-party inspection body.

1,200 J3 consecutive impacts
Corrosion“Unaffected by H₂S and salt.”

H₂S, chlorine, ozone and saline atmospheres don’t attack composite.

Operation“Just one operator.”

The grid drops back into the closed position by itself: nobody has to close it.

GRP fall protection grids: under a T1 hatch or in civil works.

Under a T1 hatch → grid for hatches · non-standard chamber or shaft → civil works module. The numbers come from the catalogue and are updated continuously.

07 — Common questions

What people ask us before choosing a grid for fall protection.

Seven short answers. For anything else, your account manager replies in the pro portal.

With a 1,200 J impact test, following the INRS ED 6076 method, Annex 5: a 50 kg bag dropped from 2.40 m onto the grid resting on its frame. The bars were validated by a third-party inspection body after 3 consecutive impacts, without the bag passing through them.
