Range · GRP composite guard-rails

The composite guard-rail – top-mounted or side-mounted.

Every component you need to build your own guard-rails in GRP composite, reinforced with glass fibre: profiles, posts, fixings, connectors and a gate, depending on the mounting type. Unaffected by corrosion and electrically insulating, they are made in Normandy.

02 — Applications

Where steel corrodes and current flows.

Three situations where composite holds up with no paint or treatment.

Wet environments

Wastewater treatment plants and wet environments

H₂S, chlorine and ozone don’t attack GRP resin: no paint or treatment needed.

Saline atmospheres

Coastal sites and saline atmospheres

Sea spray and salt don’t attack composite: the guard-rail stays sound, with no repainting.

Live equipment

Near live electrical equipment

Non-conductive: the guard-rail can be installed near live equipment with no equipotential bonding on the profiles.

03 — Why composite

No welding to install, no painting afterwards.

Corrosion“Chemically inert.”

Faced with H₂S, chlorine, ozone or salt, it needs neither paint nor treatment.

Installation“Assembled on site.”

No welding: the base plate, posts and profiles are assembled by two people, with no machinery.

04 — The range

Top-mounted or side-mounted: the structure decides.

On top of the slab → top-mounted · on the side face of the slab or wall → side-mounted. The numbers come from the catalogue and are updated continuously.

05 — Standards and documents

Profile dimensions and the 180 J test.
